The perfect fit for your optimum comfort & performance
WHY FIT RIGHT?
The importance of finding the right fit
At FitRight Cycle, we offer professional advice and guidance around the right cycling shorts/bibs, gloves and helmet to suit your personal needs. We also believe the right size bike is vital for comfort, endurance and performance.
BIKE SIZING
Whilst bike sizing for 12 years, it became apparent that not only is it vital to have your bike set up correctly to your body geometry, but it is also so important to have the correct frame size, handlebar width, stem and crank length too.
SADDLE SIZING & GUIDANCE
Having the wrong saddle can be a very painful experience. Something you want to avoid at all costs! The wrong saddle can cause a variety of negative outcomes such as discomfort, pain, numbness, saddle sores, bruising and broken skin. We help you establish the right saddle, the right size, and will help you fit the saddle correctly to avoid these issues.
CYCLE SHORTS & BIBS
Cycle shorts/bibs are not cheap. There are so many brands out there and it can be daunting if you are unsure which brand, and which model within that brand will suit your body shape, riding style, goals and budget.
GLOVES
Gloves can enhance your grip and control on the bike handlebars, provide additional cushioning, and protect your hands in case of a crash.
Cycle gloves are important, especially when a cyclist suffers from sore hands or pins and needles. Handlebar palsy and carpal tunnel syndrome are just two very real issues that affect cyclists’ hands whilst riding. The right choice of gloves can place a huge role in helping with these issues.
HELMETS
A helmet is an essential part of your riding kit. The materials and shape of the helmet are important features in minimizing the risk of injury.
Studies have shown that wearing a helmet reduces your risk of serious brain injury and death because, during a fall or collision, most of the impact energy is absorbed by the helmet, rather than your head and brain. But just as important as wearing a helmet is wearing the right helmet.
